Hi, My name is Steve, and I live in Running Springs, California. I’ve been in construction most of my life, mainly framing houses. About 4 years ago, right when the pandemic hit, I injured my foot rather severely. It took screws, pins and external fixators to put it back together.
I got through that, but construction in the mountains is now a little tough on my foot. I enjoy impressionist painting as a hobby, and thought I’d build frames for a some of my pictures. When I showed them to family and friends, they said I should try to sell them. I thought this was a great idea and much easier on my foot.
My paintings are impressionist acrylic, and the frames are handmade from cedar, redwood and reclaimed pallet wood, and each finished to match a particular painting.
I hope you at least find them interesting to look at. I'm always trying to keep it different !!! And I would appreciate any comments or advice, (I've never done this online stuff before).
